La herramienta eléctrica está pensada para atornillar y aflojar tornillos, así como para taladrar en madera, metal, cerámica y plástico. La GSB está destinada además a la perforación por impacto en ladrillo, mampostería y piedra. Gracias a su diseño compacto, es una ayuda práctica para una amplia gama de aplicaciones. Con el portabrocas de acción rápida de hasta 13 mm, se puede sujetar una amplia gama de herramientas. Los niveles de par de apriete, la selección de 2 velocidades, así como las funciones de taladrado, atornillado y perforación por percusión, permiten ajustar la herramienta de forma precisa a la tarea a realizar. La función ECP (Electronic Cell Protection) protege las baterías, cuyo nivel de carga puede leerse en cualquier momento a través del indicador de nivel de carga.
