The ProCORE are two 18 volt batteries with 4.0 Ah, based on Li-Ion technology. The ProCORE technology impresses with its performance, which is comparable to the 1600 watt motor of a corded tool and thus provides enough power for the heaviest applications with battery-powered tools. It delivers 87% more power than normal 18 volt battery-powered tools and guarantees consistently high performance. Thanks to the latest cell technology, the ProCORE batteries deliver the same power as standard 4.0 Ah batteries - but with considerably smaller dimensions and less weight. Thanks to COOLPACK technology, ProCORE batteries have a 135% longer service life than standard batteries. This also prevents the batteries from overheating. Thanks to its modern design, the Bosch GAL 18V-40 charger is very compact and compatible with all Bosch Professional 18V batteries. The intelligent charging process automatically recognises the charge status of the batteries and charges them at the optimum charging current depending on the battery temperature and voltage. This protects the batteries and ensures that they are always fully charged when stored in the charger. The charger can be operated either standing or hanging on the wall.
