The Bosch GBA ProCORE Professional is an 18 volt plug-in battery with 8.0 Ah, based on lithium-ion technology. The ProCORE technology impresses with its performance, which is comparable to the 1,600 watt motor of a corded tool and therefore provides enough power for the heaviest applications with cordless tools. It therefore delivers 87% more power than normal 18 volt cordless tools and guarantees consistently high performance thanks to superior heat management with the Bosch COOLPACK 2.0 system. This Bosch proprietary battery cooling system protects the batteries even more efficiently against overheating and increases the service life of the batteries by 135%. The battery is compatible with all Bosch 18 V tools and has an LED charge level indicator on the front. The Bosch GAL 18V-160 Professional is an ultra-fast charger that charges your cordless power tools quickly and efficiently, eliminating the frustration of slow chargers. With an impressive charging speed, you can fully charge your ProCORE18V 8.0 Ah Professional battery in just 44 minutes. The charger offers three practical charging modes: Standard, PowerBoost and Long Life, allowing you to adjust the charging power according to your needs. The PowerBoost mode is ideal when you need to fully charge quickly, while the Long Life mode allows a gentler charge up to 80% to extend the life of your battery. A special feature of the GAL 18V-160 is the Active Air Cooling technology, which works with two integrated fans to keep the batteries cool during charging. This is particularly useful when batteries have become warm through prolonged use. The charger is not only compatible with the Bosch Professional 18 V system, but also with the cross-brand AMPShare battery alliance, making it a versatile choice for different tools.
