The special feature of this 2.0 Ah battery is its integrated Bluetooth technology. The connection between the battery and smartphone or tablet requires Bluetooth 4.0 or Bluetooth Smart software and offers the following functions via a free app: display of last point of use, charge status, activation status, battery status and battery temperature. It also offers the option of switching off the battery or activating an alarm function as soon as it moves 30 metres or more away from the end device, providing effective protection against theft.
