Thanks to the use of 54-volt XR FLEXVOLT batteries, it delivers up to 50% more power output, which is particularly noticeable when performing demanding sawing work in a wide variety of materials. The brushless motor not only guarantees higher performance with more compact dimensions, but also ensures a significantly longer service life for the machine. Thanks to the electronic stroke rate control via the throttle switch, a lock switch and the electronic motor brake, the sabre saw can be guided precisely and safely – even when making demanding cuts. The very high pulling power enables fast cuts even in hard materials, while the swivelling saw shoe ensures optimum contact with the workpiece. Particularly practical: the tool-free saw blade change saves time and increases efficiency on the construction site. A powerful LED light ensures optimum visibility of the cutting line, even in dark working areas. The balanced design and ergonomic rubberised handle offer excellent comfort during longer periods of use. The DCS 386 is compatible with all 18V and 54V XR FLEXVOLT batteries, making it ideal for anyone already working with the DeWalt battery system.
