Product description:

The TKS 80 EBS table saw from Festool ensures maximum safety in the workshop. Its built-in sensitive SawStop technology ensures greater safety when sawing non-conductive metals. The saw will stop immediately upon skin contact and disappear into the work surface. The cartridge releases a pre-tensioned spring and shoots an aluminium block into the saw blade. The SawStop technology can also be switched off, so that conductive materials can then be sawn. After release, the cartridge can be replaced in a few simple steps. Every year there are about 4000 injuries when using a circular saw. This corresponds to 16 injuries per working day. Approximately 26 % of serious accidents are then covered by an accident pension. These figures should make every user think, and one should invest in his or her highest asset, the body and its integrity. The TKS 80 EBS can be used very flexibly. Whether a cutting height of 80 mm, the extendable working length or the longitudinal and crosscut fence, all this ensures great flexibility when working. The angle scale with locking points and fine adjustment is perfectly suited for crosscutting and longitudinal cuts. There is less tearing on the workpiece thanks to the left-hand swivelling of the saw blade. Crosscuts up to a width of 820 mm with sliding table are possible without any problems at a cutting depth of 20 mm. Longitudinal cuts up to a cutting height of 80 mm and a width of 600 mm with widening are also no problem. Moreover, the CLEANTEC extraction socket ensures a clear visibility and low-dust working. The side-mounted tool garage provides space for saw blades, cartridges and the sliding stick.
