With the 40 volt battery from Makita, the history of the next battery generation is being written. The flagship of the XGT battery series is, on the one hand, the increased performance and, on the other, the even more robust design of the batteries. Makita now offers the battery power needed to replace mains-powered tools. Thanks to the special design of the rechargeable batteries, higher discharge currents are possible, so that maximum power output can be achieved continuously. Digital communication between the battery, the machine and the charger optimises the performance of the individual components. Noticeably longer running times are possible with one battery charge. Tough operating conditions are no problem for the XGT batteries. Thanks to the ingenious design and internal safety features, a long service life and maximum performance are achieved: the cavity to cushion against falls, a dust-insulating layer, a water protection layer and a reinforced insertion rail are just a few examples. The Makita 40 volt battery segment creates a new battery ecosystem designed for maximum applications. Thanks to the four green LED lights on the front of the batteries, the battery capacity can be read quickly.
