Product Description:

The new battery-powered angle grinder from Makita is state of the art in every respect: The brushless electric motor utilises the battery charge even more efficiently and works with absolutely minimal wear. The speed and torque are automatically adapted to the situation. The speed can also be adjusted manually from 3000 to 8500 rpm. An electronic current limiter protects the motor from overloading, a warning light illuminates and the current flow to the motor is reduced. The angle grinder is protected against dust and splash water and is fitted with non-slip rubber pads on the housing. The Active Feedback sensing Technology (AFT) switches the DGA 511 off if the disc stops suddenly to protect the user from an abrupt swing of the device. An LED display on the angle grinder shows the current battery charge level at all times.
