Product Description:
The Makita DGA517 is a powerful angle grinder equipped with a brushless motor and adjustable speed, ideal for cutting and grinding work. This handy tool has an 18-volt drive and can accommodate discs with a diameter of up to 125 mm, making it particularly suitable for demanding and professional applications. A special feature is the paddle switch, which cannot be locked for continuous operation, as well as a motor brake for additional safety. Innovative technologies such as AFT (Active Feedback sensing Technology) ensure that the motor stops immediately if the tool jams. ADT (Automatic Torque Drive Technology) automatically adjusts the speed during operation to always deliver optimum performance, depending on the requirements of the task in hand. In addition, the XPT (Extreme Protection Technology) offers excellent protection against dust and splash water, even under difficult conditions. The angle grinder is equipped with an electronically adjustable speed and a soft start, which simplifies handling and increases safety. An LED warning indicator provides information about decreasing battery voltage and possible overloading of the device. The tool is also equipped with deep discharge protection, which automatically switches the angle grinder off as soon as the battery is almost empty to ensure a long service life.
