The Metabo KGSV 216 M mitre saw with speed control extends the range of applications, such as cutting aluminium profiles and plastics. Its "multi cut" saw blade (flat/trapezoidal teeth) is suitable for high cutting quality and has a long service life, particularly in laminates and aluminium profiles. This saw has a high cutting capacity thanks to its slinding function for wide workpieces. Its compact design and low weight make it easy to carry around. Its robust die-cast aluminium design meets the highest demands. Its ergonomic handles and saw-head lock make it easy to transport. Its integrated dust scoop funnel ensures efficient extraction of sawdust. This machine is also equipped with the Vario-Constamatic (VC) electronic system, which allows you to work at speeds suited the application material, and remain almost constant even under load. The most common angles can be set quickly and accurately using notches. What's more, thanks to the laser, the cutting line is exactly displayed (mains-operated, no batteries required). Extendable and removable table extensions can be used to support long panels, skirting boards, etc. The KGSV 216 M has a powerful built-in LED light that illuminates the cutting line (mains powered, no batteries required). In addition, its high, adjustable side stops ensure safe sawing. A quick-action clamp for secure fixing of the workpiece from the top or front and a depth guide for easy creation of grooves are also available. The saw head can be inclined to the left and has an additional angle adjustment for undercuts. All scales and operating elements are visible from the working position and can be operated intuitively. This saw is equipped with a spindle lock that allows you to change blades without any problem; no dismantling of the pendulum guard required
