A rack and pinion mechanism allows easy switching between plunge routing and freehand mode as well as precise height adjustment, eliminating the need for expensive lifting mechanisms. The fine adjustment screw ensures precise depth settings over the entire plunge depth range, supported by a three-stage turret with a clearly legible scale for preset milling depths. For a safe and clean working environment, the TRA001 offers excellent dust extraction, side ventilation slots to protect the motor and a fully enclosed cutting zone that protects against rotating tools. The multi-function fence provides optimum control for pendant and circular routing operations, while quick-fit pins allow easy attachment to the Triton router table and accessories. The on/off switch with safety cover prevents unintentional switching on in cutter change mode and further increases safety.
